Every three years, the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery invites artists across America to present the art of portraiture through its Outwin Boochever Portrait Competition. Established in 2006, it is the premiere national juried competition to celebrate excellence and innovation in portraiture.
Location: AMST Chapman and Keeler Galleries.
Cost: free with museum admission.
